Dean Jones feels that Ricky Ponting is still the best captain that they can have from this present team. Ricky is the second successful captain after Steve Waugh.If Australia loose this series against England then there will be voices from people and media telling Ponting to quit.Dean Jones said that I will still feel Ponting should back himself and his team mates should help him.
Ponting was helpless with some major players like Brett Lee and Brad Haddin getting injured and he does not have full team strength.The comment made by Jeff Thomson on Ponting has added more pressure to Ricky Ponting.Lets hope Ponting pulls out some magic and show the whole world what he is capable of.
