The Indian captain M.S Dhoni said Sachin Tendulkar definitely deserves Bharat Ratna. He said that if Sachin does not get Bharat Ratna then no one from cricketing arena can get Bharat Ratna. Dhoni also termed that it would be apt to give Bharat Ratna for some one who has been a warrior and served the country so long. Dhoni termed that "Yes 200 percent". He also added that he is the most ideal candidate.

Dhoni said that it is Sachin who has taken Indian cricket to the next level. He also added that Sachin is know even in places where they don't know about the game completely. Sachin first man to reach 2000 runs in World Cup

Sachin Tendulkar the Master Blaster of Cricket has again achieved yet another record. He becomes the first man in the history of cricket to reach 2000 runs in World Cup. Sachin reached this feat by scoring 3 consecutive boundaries. Sachin made a quick fire 27 of 22 balls before being caught on the boundary ropes. Pieter Seelaar the bowler was extremely delighted to get Sachin's wicket. India beat Netherland and with this win they are looking in good form and will surely reach the quaterfinals.
Sachin playing his 6th World Cup has totally played 40 matches and scored more than 2000 runs. Sachin first entered in to this arena in 1992 World cup from then on there is no one stopping this little master. Ponting is the only player behind Sachin to have played 42 matches and scored 1,577 runs.
Sachin keeps on towering the records and I guess it will be impossible for some one to come and break this mans record.Go Sachin Go !!!.
Get the World Cup for us. We love you so much Sachin.

Azhar and Sachin controversy

Azhar the former Indian captain made some harsh statements which was over exaggerated by the media. Well when Azhar asked about Sachin he told that he has nothing to say about Sachin. The media then fired at Azhar that he underperformed during Sachin's tenure as Captain of India. This statement made Azhar furious and he lashed at the media saying that you can very well see the records I was the highest run scorer during his captaincy both in ODI and Test.
However Azhar termed that Sachin is not a good captain and did not have the skill of captaincy in him. He also added that he will not change this opinion since this is how he felt and that is how 100 million people in India will think about Sachin.
I would like to add my views about this. Azhar is trying to create unnecessary attention on him now. He knows that in a country like India where Cricket is a religion and Sachin is like GOD it was unnecessary for him to make these statements. Long live Sachin !!!
Azhar better dont bring your ugly politics into cricket !!!!

Sachin sledging McGrath incident

Sachin Tendulkar has also sledged and it was none other than against the Australian legendary fast bowler McGrath. Sachin reveals that in his life that he has never sledged anyone for the sack of sledging. However Sachin did this once in his lifetime in Kenya Champions Trophy. Sachin also revealed that it was a team ploy since McGrath would be deadly on that wicket which had moisture and dampness.
Sachin before the start of the game told Ganguly that he would do something different to upset the rhythm of Mcgrath. Sachin reminds of the incident that it was overcast condition and Glenn McGrath would have been deadly in that condition. Sachin told Mcgrath that " I will hit you out the ground ". Mcgrath got really angry and started spraying the ball all around and thus his ploy worked in favour of India and ultimately India won the game.
Sachin also said that he was sledged very early in his career by Allan Border. This happened in his first series the ball fell down when Sachin was batting and Sachin was about to take the ball while Allan border shoted from gully don't touch the ball.

Dravid overtakes Lara to become the third highest run getter

Rahul Dravid "The Wall" from India played really well over the years and now he has overtaken the legendary Brain Lara to become the third highest run getter in the Test history. Dravid has been phenomenal over the years and has continued his good form even after his late 30's. Dravid though is still a threat to teams his form and consistent run has diminished over time.

The former Indian captain is just one catch away from becoming the first player in cricket history to have pouched 200 catches. Dravid surpassed the feat of Brain Lara's 11,953 runs. Now Dravid is behind Sachin who leads the list with 14,366 runs and Ricky Ponting who is 12,332 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar first man to reach 14,000 runs

Sachin Tendulkar the Little Master has yet another record in the making.Sachin might be getting older but his skills are getting sharper and better than ever. He is just prolific and with an average of 84 for his last 1000 runs he looks hungry for more. India's run machine just looks younger even though he gets older day by day. This statement might look ironical but the truth is there is no stopping the Little master Sachin.
Sachin reached 13,000 runs earlier this year when he was playing against Bangladesh in Chittagong. It just took him such a little time to reach the 14,000 mark. This man looks eager and hungry for more. This calendar year would see India play 5 more test matches 3 against Kiwis in India and two against South Africa in South Africa. I wish in behalf of all that this master batsman run should just continue. There is no stopping the Indian run machine

Dhoni and men face stern Australia

Dhoni and his boys face a determined Australia under the resolute leadership of Ponting. In my opinion this is going to e a tough series even though from the outset India has the upper hand since th series is played in India. It has really been very tough for any team to beat Indian in the sub continent. Asutralia has a mixed set of players while India has a batting power house in the form of Sehwag,Gambhir,Dravid Sachin,Laxmanan,Raina,Dhoni. If they fire they would look to be a completely different side.
Australia on the other hand have very good bowlers and the addition of Doug Bollinger to the squad is a real boost. He is one bowler who bowls with a attacking frame of mind whethr it is a test or T20 . If Ponting's men can pull it of it will be really remarkable achievement. My views is that India would win the Test series while the ODI's would be a evenly matched contest.

Sachin Pakistan tour and injury

Sachin in an interview to Sports World was to look back at the incident – “a ball from Waqar did not rise as anticipated; it was top edged and struck Sachin on the bridge of his nose. He was wearing a helmet without a grill. Blood poured from the wound as he slumped to the ground. Sachin merely threw back his head, pulled out a handkerchief to staunch the blood and carried on bravely. Medical assistance was brushed away. The next delivery, swinging and full pitched, was gloriously square driven for four. The one after that was short outside the off stump. The batsman rose on his toes and the ball was smashed on the up, past the rooted cover fielder for another boundary. It was a stirring performance and the crowd fell silent, stunned and awed in equal measure”. He said that this incident as one that added aggression to his armory. Replying to the question, “How did you develop such aggressive outlook?, he replied that “It was good thing that on my first tour I got hurt on my nose off a Younis delivery. I realized that there could be nothing worse than than. There have been worse injuries than mine.

Sachin with Orange Cap in IPL3

Sachin Tendulkar happens to be the savior of Mumbai Indians has he is the lone player who fires for Mumbai and he has single handedly taken Mumbai to the semi finals. Mumbai Indians have secured a semi final birth and they are sitting pretty comfortably in the top of the table.Sachin's IPL3 perfomance is menacing especially with the form he is in. Sachin his taking calculated risk and playing some sheet anchor role for Mumbai and now he has gone past Kallis to grab the Orange Cap for the first time in IPL.
Sachin has now scored 512 runs in 11 matches at an average of 57 runs for each match at a strike rate of 140 which is making him more dangerous. Kallis is also in the race for the Orange Cap since he has scored 501 runs in the 11 matches. The third in the list is Sourav Ganguly but he is way beyond and has not reached even 400 runs. So it is between these two players whether Kallis or Sachin will have the Orange Cap.We will have to wait for the result and I fancy it would be with Sachin especially with the form he is currently in this season of the IPL.

IPL strategic time outs

IPL this time has changed the strategic time out after some of the key players including Sachin had protested against the rule stating that this would hamper the flow of the game. This time there is a slight change in the strategic time out and it would be two breaks each being two and half minutes. The first break would between 6 to 8th over where the bowling team can ask for the time out. The second break could be any time from the 11th to 16th over where the batting team can ask for the time out.
Lalit Modi the chairman of IPL said that this would enable both the batting and fielding team to discuss their team strategies in this time which means there will not be any delay during the overs that are bowled. The idea behind these breaks is mainly to generate more revenue.
