India crumble like pack of cards

Dhoni run out
India lost the opening match of the series to New Zealand by giving an extra bonus point. New Zealand who elected to bat were 30 for three at one stage, after which there was a remarkable recovery by the Kiwis in the form of Skipper Ross Taylor and Styris which helped the Kiwis to reach to 288.

India should have applied to their minds and should have made a sensible run chase, since we all know it is very tricky to play under lights especially in Dambulla wicket. India started well with Dinesh Karthik and Sehwag making a decent start. Dinesh Karthik dismissal was very unlucky one after which the Indian players trembled with steady bowling by the Kiwis. India manged to score only 88 runs which is one of their lowest totals in recent past.
