Viru has been awarded the Wisden Cricketer of the Year consecutively for the second time.Sehwag and Dilshan where in the race this year since both the players where devastating and played a major role in their National teams.Sehwag had a better average than Dishan and Strauss and so he was awarded the Wisden Cricketer of the year.This is the second consecutive time Sehwag runs away with this award.Sehwag's average his 70 and we all know how quickly he can score which makes him more devastating.
Sehwag who started his career has a off spinner slowly become one of the most devastating batsman in the history of the game. He is compared with the likes of Viv Richards especially for the way he plays cricket. Sehwag knows only one way to play cricket that is to attack from the word go.This award is just another feather in his cap.
