Virender Sehwag affectionately called as Viru by many Indians is an aggressive right handed batsman. He born in Delhi on 20th October, 1978. Viru played his first ODI in the year 1999 and test cricket in 2001. The media people refer Viru as Nawab of Najafgarh because Najafgarh is Viru’s home locality in Delhi.
In April 2004 Virender Sehwag married Aarthi Ahlawat. The marriage was hosted by the then Union Law Minister Arun Jaitley at his residence. Viru is having a son named as Aryavir and his date of birth is 18th October, 2007. In 2005, Sehwag opened a vegetarian eatery “Sehwag Favorites” in Delhi.
