Zaheer Khan and Sreesanth out of WI Test series

The Indian spearhead Zaheer Khan has been ruled out of the WI Test series. This is a big blow for India as already the team looks weak without the first choice players. Zaheer Khan has been ruled out with an ankle injury while Sreesanth has been ruled out because of elbow injury.

This is mainly due to the impact of the IPL. If this situation continues there is a possibility of the teams loosing its star players very soon in the form of early retirement. Either IPL should be held once in two years or the International schedule should not be so tight making the players more injury prone. BCCI it is time to act and take some smart decisions.

Zaheer Khan returns after injury

Zaheer Khan is the bowler Indian team relies on heavily. He is a very experienced customer and can change the complexion of the game totally.. He is the bowling captain of the Indian team as fondly termed by M.S.Dhoni. Zack not only adds variety to the Indian bowling but also has a huge amount of experience behind him which makes him a key player for India.


Zaheer Khan though being a very good International bowler and the spearhead of the Indian attack lacks fitness completely. The fitness of Zaheer has been a worry in the past years and his career is injury prone. Off late Zack has not played any series completely.Zaheer Khan needs to work on his fitness in order to become more effective and become some one like Wasim Akram who is a legendary cricketer.

Zaheer Khan injured and so not playing Sri Lanka tour

India are set to miss the services of their prime bowler Zaheer Khan who is set miss the entire tour due to his shoulder injury. Zaheer Khan was rested for the Zimbabwe tour but he played in the Asia Cup and performed decently well. Zaheer Khan injury adds a lot responsibility on the shoulders of Ishant Sharma and SreeSanth.

Zaheer Khan replacement has been announced and he is Abhimanyu Mithun. He has been given this chance ahead of seasoned bowlers like RP Singh, Nehra because of his impressive run in the Ranji Trophy. He is the highest wicket taker in Ranji Trophy and that is the main reason for giving him a chance ahead of other fast bowlers.

Dhoni : India can defend Twenty20 title

M.S.Dhoni feels that Indian team as the fire power to defend the Title.He released a statement to the press in which he said that his team has a bunch of talented guys and if we all play as an unit and perform to our potential we can surely defend the T20 title.

Indian teams only concern now is that Zaheer Khan is not fully fit.Dhoni told that he hopes that Zack must be fit before the first match which starts for them on June 6th against the Bangladesh.There are no favorites in this form of the game but India can have a slight advantage when compared to the other teams because Indian players have played the IPL.I wish Indian team all success.JAI HO India !!!
