India's Great Wall Rahul Dravid in Test Cricket

Rahul Dravid

It is very disheartening that Indian Cricket Team got completely drubbed in the recent England Test Series in the form of 4-nil. The only satisfying aspect is the excellent performance by the ever-reliable Mr.Dravid the wall of Indian Cricket. But for him all others failed miserably especially Suresh Raina, Gambhir, Shewag, VVS Laxman and to certain extent the great Tendulkar. We hope atleast restore some pride in the oncoming one day series.

Dravid overtakes Lara to become the third highest run getter

Dravid

Rahul Dravid "The Wall" from India played really well over the years and now he has overtaken the legendary Brain Lara to become the third highest run getter in the Test history. Dravid has been phenomenal over the years and has continued his good form even after his late 30's. Dravid though is still a threat to teams his form and consistent run has diminished over time.

The former Indian captain is just one catch away from becoming the first player in cricket history to have pouched 200 catches. Dravid surpassed the feat of Brain Lara's 11,953 runs. Now Dravid is behind Sachin who leads the list with 14,366 runs and Ricky Ponting who is 12,332 runs.

Rahul Dravid dropped for ODI's against Australia

Indian’s former captain Rahul Dravid has been dropped for the home series against Australia despite of some good performances with the bat in the Champions trophy.
Rahul Dravid played some sheet anchor roles in the recent Champions Trophy but he has been dropped for the first two matches against Australians.

Dravid should not have been dropped and according to me his presence in the team he is a boost especially with the amount of experience that Dravid carries behind him. Virat Kohli has been preferred instead of him. Sudeep Tyagi of Tamil Nadu gets a chance to play for the National side. Ishant Sharma has retained his place despite so many failures. Yusuf Pathan has been dropped from the squad due to his failure in the Champions Trophy.
