Shane Warne fined $50,000

Shane Warne

Shane Warne as been fined a huge amount for breach the IPL code of conduct. The reason behind such a big punishment is because , Shane Warne abused RCA cricket seceretary Sanjay Dixit during one of the IPL matches. A two member IPL disciplinary committee with IPL chairman Amin and former Indian captain Ravi Shashtri found Warne guilty and have fined him with such a big amount.

The committee also said that if this mistake is commited by Warne again he might face even more stern punishment which may be giving a ban for Warne from IPL. However Warne will not play the next IPL since the legendary leg spinner is going to retire from IPL this year.

Shane Warne to retire from IPL

Shane Warne the legendary Aussie spinner and the captain of Rajasthan Royals as decided to call it a day. Yes Rajasthan Royals skipper for the last four editions of the IPL has decided to retire from IPL at the end of this year. Warne has played 54 games in IPL right from edition one till the fourth edition and has taken 56 wickets at an average of 24.66.

Shane Warne according to me is one of the best captains in IPL. In the first edition of the IPL he had a very average team but went on to become the champions of the IPL. Shane Warne from the next edition of IPL will be associated with Rajasathan Royals as a coach or mentor.

Sachin with Orange Cap in IPL3

Sachin Mumbai Indians

Sachin Tendulkar happens to be the savior of Mumbai Indians has he is the lone player who fires for Mumbai and he has single handedly taken Mumbai to the semi finals. Mumbai Indians have secured a semi final birth and they are sitting pretty comfortably in the top of the table.Sachin's IPL3 perfomance is menacing especially with the form he is in. Sachin his taking calculated risk and playing some sheet anchor role for Mumbai and now he has gone past Kallis to grab the Orange Cap for the first time in IPL.

Sachin has now scored 512 runs in 11 matches at an average of 57 runs for each match at a strike rate of 140 which is making him more dangerous. Kallis is also in the race for the Orange Cap since he has scored 501 runs in the 11 matches. The third in the list is Sourav Ganguly but he is way beyond and has not reached even 400 runs. So it is between these two players whether Kallis or Sachin will have the Orange Cap.We will have to wait for the result and I fancy it would be with Sachin especially with the form he is currently in this season of the IPL.

Rajasthan Royals have already last 2 young guns Kamran Khan and Amit Singh for suspect action. So it is not good time for Rajasthan Royals.Inspite of all these problems can we expect Rajasthan Royals to come all guns blazing.

Kamran Khan of Rajasthan Royals reported for suspect action

Kamran Khan the 18 year old senstaion in this IPL is reported for suspect action. He has a very slingy action similar to that of Srilankan Lasit Malinga. The only difference is Kamran Khan is left arm fast bowler while Malinga is right hand fast bowler.

Kamran was reported fro suspect action by the on-field umpires on April 30th in the match against Chennai Superb Kings (CSK).Rudi Koertzen and Gary Baxter the 2 on-field umpires had a close look at his action and decided to report his action to the TV umpire. It has been offically declared that Kamran Khan can continue to bowl until the result about his action his announced.

Shane Warne the Rajasthan Royals captain has still hopes on Kamran Khan that he will recover from this scare and conitnue to be a threat for all other teams. Warne also told that Kamran his young ans he is willing to learn a lot.We have to wait and see what his the verdict of his result.

Kaif axed from Rajasthan Royals

Mohammad Kaif, along with seven other players, have been asked to fly back home from South African Team. The main big gun who has been axed from Rajasthan Royals is Kaif.He was paid more than Shane Warne last time. But the performance of Kaif was below par and he had just an average of 16 in the last year IPL.

Reports suggest that Shane Warne was not happy with Kaif's performance and that was a main reason for axing one of the senior players of the team.Kaif was paid $ 675,000 last time. This means that it is really tough for Kaif to get back in to the team.I personally feel that this is not the way to treat Kaif.He is one of the most dedictaed guys in the International level. He is a team man.Rajasthan Royals are going to suffer without Kaif.

IPL : BestCaptains

IPL (Indian Premier League ) is goin to underway .The first match is between CSK and Rajasthan Royals. There are totally eight teams. It is tough to choose which team is goin to win.But the best captains i would suggest for this IPL are

M.S.Dhoni (Mr.Cool and last time runner up team captain)
Sourav Ganguly (Bengal Tiger gives his best only during times of crisis.)
Shane Warne ( Proactive and agressive captain)

So I personally feel these are the teams to watch out for. This time around the intensity of the game is very high.We will see some very good matches.Countdown has began .Only 4 days to go for the DLF IPL to kick off.

Warne's Rajasthan Royals lose IPL warm-up

Shane Warne's Rajasthan Royals did not start their IPL camp as they wanted .Their first outing in South African campaign they lost by 27 runs against the Cape Cobras in the 1st IPL warm-up match at Newlands.

The two teams missed there champion players.Rajasthan Royals had only 4 of its winning players in th e team this time and most of the key players from South African T20 team were also missing. Thus both sides looked evenly balanced.

Cape Cobras 142-8 in 20 overs but the Rajasthan Royals managed only 115 in 19 overs and so the last time champions last the game by 27 runs.Shane Warne quoted to the media that it was disappointing to start on a losing note.Is this an indication that this time Rajasthan Royals are going to make an early exit.We have to wait and watch.
