Murali after his last match feels that he will miss the dressing room environment and bowling to great batsman like Sachin Tendulkar. Murali said that he never regretted about his retirement and feels that his decision is a very apt one. Murali took his last wicket the 800th one and become the first bowler in the history to claim 800 wickets.
Murali admitted that many people told him to play the entire Test series including his wife so that he can get to 800 wickets, but he wanted to retire after the Galle Test. Murali took 8 wickets in his last Test to end with 800 wickets. The cricketing world will miss someone like Murali who has been a big gentleman of the game. He is an epitome of the game.
