IPL Pakistan Cricketer Mohammad Asif fined Rs 1 million in drugs case
Mohammad Asif played in the inaugural IPL for the Delhi Daredevils.He was the most important fast bowler for them but his performances where not up to the expectation.He was detained in the airport on the charges that he had drugs.Asif has been charged Rs 1 million which is approximately US$12,500.
PCB had put a 3 member committee who reviewed this case and they have recommended to Ijaz Butt the chairman of PCB to fine such a huge amount.Asif has also accepted the punishment and he told the reporters that he had done a mistake and he feels guilty for that.The three member committee said that it was the decision of the panel to give Asif the financial punishment.
