Mumbai started of very sluggishly with Franklin failing to score even a single run of BenHilfenhaus 1st over. Sachin on the other end was cool and composed and he stroked away to accumulate runs at one end. Soon Franklin lost his wicket and in came Rohit Sharma, and he along with the company of Little Master Sachin made sure they had 100 run partnership at a steady rate.
Sachin and Rohit Sharma together made it look so easy, there was something spectacular required for Chennai to get back in to the game. That was the time when Fat Du Plessis plucked a spectacular catch from nowhere to get rid of Sachin. Jadeja then bowled a very good over just to give away 2 runs and pick up 2 wickets. By this time it was Chennai’s match but Smith scored 14 runs of last 3 balls to pull the rabbit out of the hat. I would term this as one of the best IPL matches in 2012 were neither of the teams deserved to loose.
