After the match, the Australia Captain Ricky Ponting was very happy and felt it was entire team effort and paid tributes to Marcus North who scored 110 and Michael Clarke 93. Ponting who praised their bowlers for getting the initial advantage in both the England's innings through getting quick wickets that ultimately paved way for victory.
